The foundation for Mychrome was laid in Mikael Piispanen’s metal workshop back in the days. As it happens, all of his four sons walked in his footsteps and are today running the company together!
That which started out as a metal workshop is today a leading actor in the pallet nailing machine industry. Mikrometalli, as the company was named earlier, acted for many years as a sub-contractor for IM Hart and produced their pallet nailing machines. In the summer of 2018 Mikrometalli bought the brand IM Hart and the production rights to their pallet nailing machines. Two strong companies became one and Mychrome was created.

Mychrome is today Finland’s only manufacturer of pallet nailing machines.
We operate globally and have agents in 12 countries.
Besides pallet nailing machines we still produce metal components for the industrial sector. Our services consist of laser cutting, bending, turning, welding and milling.
To this day, the family values still lead the company. Mychrome believe in openness and communication. Our wish is that employees, customers and partners all perceive us as easy to reach. We want to find solutions together!
